THE OTHER ZOEY
I recently worked as the Assistant to the Director of a movie being filmed in Charlotte called The Other Zoey.
As the Director's Assistant, I assisted Sara Zandieh with the traditional duties of an Executive Assistant, and in addition
I also helped with casting for certain roles and contributed to script revisions. I was asked to remain beyond the end of filming to assist with organizing and cataloging of items used during filming.

I accepted a two-month contract to sell posters on a team with my cousin at various colleges around the country.
We sold a variety of products to college students as they were moving into their dormitories. These items included
780 varieties of large and small posters, postcards, frames, tapestries, travel tubes, hanging magnets and putty and other accessories.
We enjoyed some solid cousin time, but were most proud of the fact that we out-sold our projections at each school by up to 62% more! We earned the highest commission percentage possible!

I designed Facebook and Instagram advertisements and as well as organized Google ads and compared the increase in website traffic from the advertisements. I keep track of the activity on other Activity Professional-related Facebook pages to ensure that NCCAP's posts remain relevant, yet, unique! I am constantly brainstorming and researching various ways to increase website traffic and course participation, including key words and SEO.
I provided freelance marketing and social media work for National Certification Council for Activity Professionals, or NCCAP. It is an organization which provides certification for engagement and person-centered care, from aging in place at home, and the journey of long-term care. NCCAP's MEPAP Certification Course is the only certification course that meets the Professional Standards of Practice.
My main objective was to advertise the MEPAP, Montessori Home Engagement and Memory care Validation courses and increase the number of participants in the programs. I was responsible for daily Facebook posts on the Official NCCAP page. I have reached out to

I took over the role for designing the website for Burnett RCI, a legal consulting firm whose owner had become frustrated with his web design company. In addition to creating the site from scratch, I wrote content as well as edited and inserted photos and videos. I used photoshop and iMovie to edit different sections of the website and designed all of the graphics used. Burnett RCI experienced explosive growth after the website was published!

I collaborated with Faith Rivenburg, an entrepreneur and founder of True Tropic. Her business is to sell authentic hand-woven bags out of Ata grass from Bali. True Tropic's entire business is web based. I assisted the founder with her social media presence, specifically on Instagram, and gave advice on how to attract and maintain new followers. I suggested a number of different hashtags she could use on her Instagram posts. I also made suggestions for her website and Facebook page. I helped Faith to substantially increase her Instagram following, leading to increased influence and sales!
